Just Another...

MoJo Monday...(you have to sing that to the tune of "Just another Manic Monday"..). Seriously, that is the song that ends up getting stuck in my head every time I think of the Mojo Monday Blog. I loved the layout for this weeks challenge, so of course I had to make a card right away! Naturally it is another Ketto from Stamping Bella, Charlotte Ketto this time. Don't worry, I'm almost out of Ketto's that haven't been inked...I'll be moving on soon - but don't you just looooove them??!!

I watercoloured her using SU's Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red. The Patterned paper is from Basic Grey - Bittersweet. The layers are Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red and I added 3 poppy red glitter dots from stamping Bella. The sentiment comes from a retired SU hostess set called Bitty Basics...I love that the words fit the 3/4" circle punch.
That's all you get today...I have a gazillion loads of laundry to get done!!

Another Day, Another Ketto...

This time I used Suzette Ketto from Stamping Bella. The base layer is SU's So Saffron and it is layered with my favourite (at least todays fav..) MME - laundry line and a piece of SU's (retired) soft Sky. I watercoloured Suzette with Su's So Saffron, Soft Sky and a blend of Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink. I hid the seam of the two papers with a strip of White 5/8" grosgrain ribbon and added 3 Raspberry Baubles. Suzette is popped up with dimensionals and I added a border of Dazzling Diamonds around the image. One popcorn bauble in the centre of the flower made it stand out a little more.

My daughter is going to a birthday party tomorrow so I made it a birthday card for her BFF...The Birthday Hugs and wishes sentiment is from SU's Hugs and Wishes stamp set.

Have a great weekend!!!!

GROOOOAN!!!

That was pretty much my night yesterday and my day so far!! it has been a little hectic so I am posting a card that I have had kicking around..more on that in a sec.

So why the groan?? Well the toilet overflowed (literally) last night and I wasn't gonna deal with it so it had to wait 'til hubby got home. After mopping up the floor and throwing the floor mats in the washing machine we had to leave for swim practice. When we got home, I had to re-wash the floor 'cause although the toilet was fixed....he wasn't particularily tidy about it!!

Today the kids both had an orthodontist appt. Jessie is apparently missing all four of her #5 teeth and Jordan...go figure...needs to have 6 baby teeth pulled. He doesn't have enough room in his mouth and Jessie with her perfect smile (now) will have gaps later. Luckily we can't do anything about Jessie until she is older...I have already made an appointment with the oral surgeon for Jordan. Ok...enough moaning and groaning (GRIN)

Onto my card... another Bella (of course) I did warn you that I love all things Bella. So I used Retailfellabella on this card and watercoloured the image with some of the colours I pulled from the striped patterned paper. I used my CM wave cutter on the card and added a small piece of the striped paper on the inside edge of the card. Three espresso baubles and some Crystal effects on the boots added some dimension. the sentiment for the card was perfect.

There are only 2 problems with this card...ONE...I would never get hubby to go shopping with me like this...TWO...I won't get to go shopping like this...although the orthodontist will...LOL!!!

YAY ME!!

I had a productive night last night stamping!! I had a meeting for the school (you know the times when I volunteer my life away!!) but when I got home around 11:00...I stamped...and I actually got another class done for my ladies at the sr centre....soooo YAY ME!!

First though, I just mailed this card to a friend today...she had day surgery so I thought this might make her smile...Hopefully she isn't checking my blog or the surprise will be spoiled. Feelabella is stamped on Fabriano and watercoloured with SU's retired River Rock, Groovy Guava and Close to Cocoa. I layered her on Blue Bayou and added the same colour ribbon tied in a knot at the side of the image. The perfect MME paper complimented the colours I chose. The only mistake I made was in not using the sentiment that comes with this stamp...Feel wella bella...she's Italian so it would have been perfect!

The next class I completed for my ladies is called the "Year of Cheer". I borrowed the idea from my friend Karen but changed it up a bit. Instead of using 12x12 cardstock to make the pockets to hold the cards, I used 8 1/2" square vellum envelopes. I cut the top off of the envelopes and bound all the pages at the side using my Bind-it-all (yay, I justified buying the bind-it-all) and added ribbon to the wires to make it look pretty. Every month has an envelope which is actually a "pocket" to hold the cards you make...I added a calendar (numbers only) to the front of each page so you can track birthdays and special events for each month. At least one of the classes will include making cards to put into the pockets of the book. All of the pages are stamped using Stazon ink (great for non-porous surfaces) and each page has a different quote at the bottom.

I think they will really like this one!!

I've Been Bizzy!!!

Now don't you think that "bizzy" is much more fun spelled like this...kinda like dizzy!!

I decided to get ahead of the game and make my Brother's birthday card...I've been late for 2 birthdays in the last 3 weeks so I am getting this one done and in the mail today!! He lives in Australia so Stamping Bella's Surfafella is the perfect stamp!! (Isn't it amazing I ALWAYS have the perfect stamp..hmm, maybe I have too many...Nah, you can never have too many!!!)
So I used one of my favourite papers from My Mind's Eye- Wild Asparagus, it has my favourite (retired) SU colours..River Rock, Blue Bayou and Groovy Guava. I coloured in my fella and used the layout from Mojo Monday week 79 (guess where I'll be submitting this card for the challenge). I changed it a little 'cause the knot on the ribbon would have covered his legs and it looked silly. Here is the layout from the Mojo monday challenge. Inside the card I stamped "They say it's your Birthday".
I will also be submitting this card for Janet's Corrosive Challenge #4...It has to be anything that is in the water...well If he fell off his board, Surfafella would be in the water...right??!! I know a bit of a stretch but I don't have any fish or frog stamps or anything else that would be in the water.

I also made some baby thank you's for my neighbour...who is still waiting to have the baby!!
I used the same layout that I used with Agnes in one of my previous posts and I used the Stamping Bella amimals Giraffe...same one I used for her baby card. Inside the card is just a simple "A Note of Thanks" from SU's Thank You Kindly set. I added a few baubles and some ribbon to embellish the card. I wanted to keep things relatively simple since I was making 10. the main colours are SU's Barely Banana and Bashful Blue.

Phew...thats it for now!!

Oh My...

Has it really been this long since I've posted??!! Well I have been busy...just not stamping. Hubby took the last 2 days of March break off so I had everyone in the house Thursday thru Sunday. we went to Chuck E Cheese on Thursday so that day was a total write off...in the sense of getting anything done...But the kids had a phenomenal time so it was well worth it.

The rest of the time I pretty much spent procrastinating...Have I mentioned I tend to do that...A LOT!! Needless to say, I didn't get any of my goals completed...you remember...all my classes for my seniors group...getting the house all cleaned up...Yeah well...it's a good thing I don't stress about things like that!!! Today is another day!!

Soooo what did I do all weekend?? Not much...but this card will give you a hint...
This is another stamp I purchased from Stamping Bella..it is one of those that I really don't know what to do with, but I just fell in love with it.
I made this card a while ago so I don't remember much other than it is watercoloured...and I had to go over the writing 'cause it didn't show up once I had coloured in the image.
So....have you guessed...Yup, I read! I finished two books over the last 3 days...Not anything deeply philosophical so I probably didn't gain much wisdom..but it was nice and relaxing! So now...I'm off to do some house cleaning and laundry since it was horribly neglected over the weekend...hmm, I'll have to find some time to stamp too!!
have a great day!!!!!!

A Happy Day

in Bellaland!! Yes, I actually made it out there today...with the kids in tow. I had to bribe them to agree (I know, I know, who's in charge???!!!) but we went and I had a great time!! There is just something about going to the store that makes you feel happy. So now I am sitting here thinking of all the lovely stamps I bought and trying to figure out which one I want to use first. I was good though...I didn't buy a single piece of patterned paper, as tempting as it was...and it was!!!
My only creation today is Teddybella...remember the Amimals Giraffe baby card I made...well I saw my friend who is due any day and her "tummy" took me by surprise. It shouldn't, I've been there twice...but how soon we forget. Anyway seeing her made me think of Teddybella so I made this card for her.

I stamped her on whisper white card stock and coloured her in with Copics. I used my black stardust pen to colour in the teddybear's nose. I layered the card with SU's chocolate chip and a piece of MME's dreamy plaid. I added a piece of chocolate gros grain ribbon in behind the image and added the sentiment stamped in tempting turquoise. Sorry not too many details tonight...it's late and we have a busy day tomorrow...going to Chuck E Cheese with my friend Jenny and her kids....
I told my guys tonight and they are bouncing off the walls!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Not that I have a drop of Irish blood in me...I'm not even wearing green today. Buuuut...I did make a green card!!

I've commented often enough how the kids can never make the bus in the mornings...well go figure, it's March Break and they are getting up at the crack of dawn!! Not a bad thing though, I am getting lots accomplished. So far this morning I've cleaned the bathrooms, made breakfast for the munchkins, done 3 loads of laundry (I even folded it!!) and rescued my son's remote control airplane from a tree...twice! Oh yeah...I also made this card...

Agnes Ketto is watercoloured using SU's Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery and Soft Sky. I found the perfect green striped paper (Kaiser) to complement the colours I used.

I should mention I loooove stripes, and plaids, and dots...and, and, and...I just love paper!! I have sooooo much of it now though that I've decided I really do need to use some of it up. Just before my friend Karen moved away (sniff, sniff) she told me not to buy anymore until I had used 25 sheets... well, needless to say it didn't happen...but now I am going to try again..wish me LUCK!!!

Back to Agnes...I layered the striped paper on a piece of Wild Wasabi and tied a satin celery bow around the piece. I then adhered it to my background of certainly celery stamped with small flowers. I layered Agnes onto a piece of Soft Sky and glued 3 Bella Platinum glitter dots underneath her. I added a little bit of Bella's liquid water colour glitter to her wings to make them sparkle.

I'm submitting this card for Janet's challenge of the week...it just happens to be making a card that's GREEN.

Now it is time to feed the kiddies lunch...I think it will be McD's at the mall!!

Introducing...

Tatiana Ketto....yes another stamp from the Ketto line!! This is the one (well there are others too...) that I was colouring while Hubby was hogging the computer this W/E. I have to say I am really having fun with these...they are just so cute!! (Thanks Elaine!!!)

So I put her together just now...I got on a cleaning kick about 3 hours ago and I am finally taking a break. My cleaning kick (totally off topic here) started with the family room...moved on to the front hall and then the kitchen. The rest of my house is still a disaster but at least I have 3 rooms done! I now have a new goal...this is in addition to getting all 6 classes done...I am going to get my house in order!!!!! I'm not kidding when I say it is a disaster. It doesn't help when my two munchkins are constantly adding to our already extensive collection of CLUTTER. Just yesterday my son found a deer antler in our backyard (a pretty big one) and he's decided it should be displayed prominently on our mantle...he's so proud of his find...how do you say no??

I should mention that I have slowly been de-junking the house...I started following Flylady about a year ago (off and on)...well I am back on as of today and I am determined to get things in order...the way I see it, the sooner I get it done...the more time I have to STAMP!!!

OK...back to Tatiana...I never would have put these colours together on a card but I just used the colours in the patterned paper (Bo Bunny) and voila...she looks so cute!! I watercoloured her with SU's Riding Hood Red, Summer Sun, and Certainly Celery. I layered the patterned paper on some Riding Hood Red. I layered Tatiana on Summer sun and popped her up. In the middle I added a strip of Riding Hood red layered on a scalloped piece of Summer Sun (love that SU scallop edge punch). I pierced holes in the centre of the scallops and added a strip of celery grosgrain to tie it all together. One diamond ice bauble in the centre of the flower and 3 along the bottom edge added a little bit of bling. The best thing about her is her hair...reminds me of my daughters when she left the house to play today...LOL

I just went and checked out Emily's challenge for the week at the Stamping Bella Blog and I think my colours match...or should it be orange instead of red??? Let me know what you think...I might actually have a submission ready before the day before (does that make sense??)

2 Down...4 to Go

So I got my second class done for my seniors group...Again it is one I've done before (why re-invent the wheel right???) but I changed it up and used different papers. The first time I did this class it took me forever to figure out the dimensions and how I put it together...now that I know how...it didn't take long at all. I was actually going to post this on the weekend but my darling husband was HOGGING the computer!!!!

So here it is...It is a Portfolio that holds these 4 cards inside. I used SU's retired Parisian Breeze paper(I was very sad to see it go 'cause I really liked the colours). The two colours I used were Pink Pirouette and Bravo Burgundy. I used the SU stamp set Upsy Daisy....I looooove the flower image in that set!! To keep things simple, all the flowers are stamped with Pink Pirouette and all the sentiments (also in this set) are in Bravo Burgundy. The cards slide into pockets inside the folder so when you open it, everything is contained. The last time I taught this class it was a hit, I hope my ladies like it too!!!
So...since I couldn't post this weekend...I had time to do some colouring...stay tuned, I may be putting up another card later...
Happy Monday everyone!!!!

I Almost Forgot...

It's Bellarific Friday!!!!

Here is the card I submitted for this weeks challenge on Emily's Blog. I used the Amimals Spotted Giraffe and made a baby card...My neighbour is due any day so I figured this would be a good time to make a baby card and why not use Emily's challenge??!!

This is the picture Emily posted and you had to use any of the colours and you had to use Buttons for an embellishment...I confess, I thought one of the colours was dark brown, it was actually black...but I did use the blue and the ivory!!

I stamped the Giraffe on watercolour paper and coloured it in with Rangers Antique Linen and SU's chocolate chip. the base of the card is from Bazzill and the patterned paper is from Heidi Grace - Tall Flowers. I inked the edges of the image with Chocolate chip ink and then layered it on bashful blue and Chocolate chip paper. I punched 3 holes with my SU 1/2" circle punch and centred the buttons inside. The little bow at the top is made with blue satin ribbon and I wrapped a tiny piece of chocolate grosgrain around the centre. (My friend Leslie who always makes beautiful bows on her cards tried to teach me too...it didn't work so I cheat and use this nifty bow making tool called the "bow easy"). When the card is open, it looks like this...with Welcome Baby (from SU's short and sweet set) stamped inside.

I really liked how this turned out so I decided to make a girl baby one as well...Here is how it turned out

Aren't they cute??!!

Lucky Friday the 13th

You know when you wake up in the morning and everything just falls into place and goes the way you want it to...well, not to brag or anything but so far this has been my day!!!

The kids got up without being cranky and ate their breakfast without a fuss...we did miss the bus (kind of a given in our house) but I can justify it 'cause my local Tim's is right by their school so I grab my coffee on the way home. Not only that...it is Pizza day at school so I didn't even have to pack lunches...

Kay, enough of that..on to my card. This one is a birthday card for my cousin...I've had it kicking around for a while and now I need to send it 'cause I'm late...I know she'll forgive me!!

Cupcakeabella is stamped on Fabriano paper and watercoloured using SU colours Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, Cameo Coral, and Chocolate chip. I added a diamond ice bauble to the top of the cupcake and some of the Bella liquid watercolour glitter to the icing...both from Stamping Bella. I added a strip of patterned paper and a strip of celery paper to the chocolate chip base. I stamped the celery strip using SU's Itty Bitty Backgrounds and celery ink. I used a piece of Chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon to hide the seam. The sentiment is from Stamping Bella as is the inside sentiment which says "Have a Fantabulous Day"...I just love that one!

and I have to say...so far my day has been "FANTABULOUS"!!

Coffee, Friends, and Stamping...

What could be better??? Nothing!!!

I took a little break from my day yesterday to meet my friend Elaine for coffee...and of course Stamping!! She very kindly offered to bring her Ketto stamps (you know, the new line from Stamping Bella...if you don't know, go check it out!!!). I haven't made it to the store yet to buy mine - I know I can buy on-line but going in person is soooooo much more fun!!

So we had a cup of coffee and I stamped 4 pages of images...she has almost all of them so I had lots of choices!!! Elaine is probably laughing right now...I'm sure she knows that I wouldn't be able to wait to try them, I mean seriously, do you really expect me to do laundry when I have new stuff to play with???

My first Ketto card used Miss Match (I think she is my fav!!). I am also submitting her for Janet Rossi's challenge of the week...you can check it out on her blog Corrosive Challenges by Janet.

Using both the stripes and the colours from Janet's blog...here she is.

Stamped on Fabriano with Memories black ink, I cut her out using my curvy rectangle Nesties. I watercoloured her with SU's Pretty in Pink, Pink Passion, and Certainly Celery. I cut an oval from the Basic Gray line- Bittersweet and layered it on Pretty in Pink paper. Miss Match is layered on Certainly Celery and I added a piece of Celery satin ribbon behind her. Stamping Bella's Pink Orchid dots added a little bit of bling ('cause she deserves bling!!). I stamped the sentiment "Dance like no one's watching" from Stamping Bella inside the card.

Isn't she pretty??!!

Time to Work

and no time to play...actually not quite true because my work is stamping...GRIN!!!! But I actually do have to do some work. I am teaching a 6 week course at my local seniors centre so I have to come up with 6 classes for them...The course will run once a week for 6 weeks and it starts in mid-April. I figure the best way to get people to sign up is to have samples available for them to see...so my goal is to have all 6 weeks ready to go by the end of next week.

Now those of you who know me are probably laughing your heads off...I am notoriously bad for doing things the night before (literally) any class or workshop...well you can stop laughing NOW!! I am determined to get this done so I don't have to worry about it...I also want lots of people to sign up!!!

Here is my first project they will be doing...It is a class I did some time ago...I got the idea from my friend Karen..she always has great ideas...AND she is a phenomenal stamper...go check out her blog Paper Playhouse and you'll see what I mean.

So where was I?? Oh yeah the class...it uses SU's Bitty Birthday set and they make all of the items posted in the pictures. I went with the colours So Saffron and Bashful Blue and the Sale-a-bration designer paper ( I have a ton of it). I am really pleased with the way the items turned out (although the pictures aren't the best)...now I just have to figure out how to organize the class to avoid "traffic jams" at each station!!

Snowdrops are falling....

On my head...not really, nor is rain...but my Snowdrops are blooming!! YAY, spring is just around the corner, and then summer. Do you notice a common theme with my posts (I'll give you a hint...SUMMER!!!) I can't wait for it! Well seeing my gajillion ( I really do have that many) snowdrops made me smile and think of summer and gardening...so I decided to make a "summery" card...and who better than Gardenia Greenthumb from Stamping Bella!

(ok...I'm gritting my teeth right now...I tried yesterday to publish this and my picture kept getting turned sideways...like it is now..I thought if I came back to it today it would be fixed..NOT!!! So just tip your head to the right and pretend it is...kay??!!)

Stamped with memories Black Ink on Fabriano water colour paper, she is coloured with SU's Almost Amethyst, Tangerine Tango and Certainly Celery. I used CTMH's carnation for the pink. The base layer is Amost Amethyst with DCWV glitter stack on top. I added a scallop edge in CTMH Carnation with a small strip of Marigold Morning on top....I only realized after I was done colouring that the Marigold was a better match for the patterned paper. I glued some small Primas along the scalloped edge and added some Hero Arts gemstones to the centre of the flowers. Some more gemstones in pink highlighted the spots on her top. She's a little busier than my ususal cards...but very summery don't ya think??

Another Busy day...

Seriously, I don't think I evvver have days that aren't busy..LOL!!!

We had a lot on the go today and it is getting late but I wanted to post the card I made today. A friend asked me to make one for a friend of hers...something to send long distance...miss you type of thing...you get the picture!!

Well, didn't I have the perfect idea (I thought so anyway). I have this little poem, no idea where I found it...some website somewhere...it's about sharing a cup of tea...I also have this little stamp...it's called Javabellas..yup another one (GRIN). So I put them together and made a card.

I stamped the image with Memories black...buuuut since I was in a bit of hurry today...I coloured with Copics...I know a few people who are probably smiling right now (if not outright laughing...Karen, Dana......). I used colours that matched SU's Soft Sky, Groovy Guava, and River rock and some blue ones...I know, I know, next time I'll write down the numbers. I don't have very many...my good friend Elaine has given me about 10 different colours (she had some doubles, lucky me!!) and I picked up a few more...but I still have a very limited collection.

So enough blabbing...here's the card. I had a small scrap of patterned paper (not sure where from) so I cut a scallop using my Big Shot and the Bigz scallop circle die. I layered the circle on soft sky paper which is stamped with the same ink and one of the stamps from the SU seeing spots set. I added a strip of Groovy Guava ribbon and a couple of String of Pearl baubles. The Bellas are layered on a piece of River rock paper and popped up.

Here's the poem part...I put it inside the card on one side and on the other side I used the scallop envelope die with the Big shot so that the person sending the card can tuck a tea bag inside...aren't I clever??!!

I even remembered to have the card opens sideways instead of up...

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

It's a Great Day...

You know your day is going to be great when you can actually stamp a card in the morning!! To add to a great start...it is pizza day at school today so I didn't have to make lunches for the kids....and it is 15 degrees outside so they don't need all the winter gear!!

So I really did stamp a card this morning...My son's class has had a student teacher in for the last few months and today is his last day...I thought it would be nice to send in a thank you card (and a Tim's gift card)...he was really great with Jordan.

Of course Stamping Bella just happened to have the perfect stamp...and I just happen to own it (no surprise there!! GRIN).

I used Professafella stamped in Memories black and watercoloured with SU's Old olive, basic grey, and creamy caramel , CTMH Indian corn Blue and Ranger distress ink Antique Linen. The card base is vanilla with a layer of Old Olive to which I added a layer of Cloud 9 Design -Travel Plaid. I inked the edges of my "fella" with the indian corn blue and popped him up on a layer of Old Olive. I thought that baubles might be too "girly" so I used antique copper brads for embellishment. The image was looking a little plain so I added two small pieces of 5/8 grosgrain ribbon at the side. The final touch was a dab of crystal effects on the apple to make it shiny.

Not a bad start to my morning!!!

Thursday, March 5, 2009

I Wish I looked so good...

on a bikeabella...seriously I do!! So here you have it...my second ever submission. I am hoping to participate in more challenges but right now I am happy being able to just get one done a week!!

I have had this stamp for ages...seriously, I bought her last summer...and until now she has never been inked. You've probably noticed that I realllllly like watercolouring, it is pretty much the only way I colour my Bellas, who knows, maybe one day I'll try copics...I'm thinking it must be faster. Stamped on Fabriano paper with Memories black ink, I watercoloured her with Cool Caribbean, Certainly Celery and Marigold Morning...why these colours???? They were the awesome colours of this weeks Bellarific Friday challenge. This is the picture Em posted...don't you wish you had dishes like that!!

Back to Bikeabella... I cut out the image and the celery layer using my nestabilities and my Big Shot (I loooove my Big Shot). I also pierced the top left and bottom right corners of the celery layer. The background is cool caribbean which I embossed with the Swiss dots folder. I added some satin celery ribbon and layered the sentiment (stamped in cool caribbean) on Marigold Morning from SU. I put two yellow brads in the centre of the wheels and outlined the spokes with my stardust pen. She almost makes me want to get on my bike.....almost!!

PHEW!!!

It has been a CRAZY day!! My kids missed the bus...again..It picks up at the end of our driveway but for some reason they can never make it!!! I have also been at the school all day helping with reading in the gr1 class and preparing the healthy snack...Do you know I chopped over 600 strawberries and 900 cubes of cheese!!! I know, I know, you really don't need to know this..too bad!! Well I have a few minutes before the bus drops them off (they can hardly miss that one!!) so I figured I'd post the card I made last night.

I am sooooooo ready for summer...I keep telling myself it is just around the corner...you sure couldn't tell by the freezing cold we had yesterday. I decided Glideabella was the perfect image for a card...although the way she is dressed, she ought to be cold!!!

Stamped on Fabriano paper with Memories black ink, I watercoloured her with Stampin' Up's Cool Carribean, Tangerine Tango, Riding Hood Red and a teeny bit of River Rock on her skates. The card is a vanilla base with a layer of River rock. I used My Minds Eye Laundry Line (I love all the papers in this series) for the triangle. It's kinda hard to tell with the picture (need to work on my photographic skills) but the little dots in the MME paper match the colours I've coloured with...I never would have put these colours together but the finished result ties together because of the paper.
I hid the seam with some satin vanilla ribbon. Glideabella is layered on cool carribean and popped up. Some Oyster baubles from Stamping Bella and a little bit of SU's crystal effects on the skate swirls finished the card.

I quite like the finished result...Simple but quite pretty...So now I'm giving myself a pat on the back 'cause this post went really fast!!!

Not so Lazy

Sundays!! I have my stamp club meeting tonight so I have to come up with a technique to teach my group. As usual, I have waited 'til the last minute! I have to say I quite like the card I have come up with...I used the faux metal technique. the card didn't photograph well so it looks better in real life...at least I think so.

The card is pretty much all SU!! The base is whisper white layered with pink pirouette and going grey. I melted 3 layers of silver ep and stamped one of the images from Pocket Silhouettes into the still hot ep. Make sure you ink your stamp with versamark first...otherwise it will stick to the ep...Trust me, I learned this the wrong way!!!

I used one of the sentiments from the set and stamped it with going grey. I punched it out with the small oval and layered it onto a pink pirouette oval. A silver brad on either side of the sentiment helped balance the card. I added some 5/8 white satin ribbon behind the faux metal image which is also layered on pink pirouette and popped it up.

Happy first day of March!!
